Terms and conditions for Budget Rockscapes Qld
Conditions:
The Customer is responsible for:
The location of all services on the property. Sewer, storm water, electrical, communications are to be marked or located prior to work commences. Information on location of services can be requested from “Dial before you dig” by calling: 1100. You can also find service locating companies online for electrical, water, sewer.
Provide an up to date set of plans prior to commencement of works showing; all easements, boundaries of the property and restrictions of use on the property such as nature corridors. It is the Customers responsibility to provide this information before works and accepts they will be fully liable for all rectification works/costs that may be required to rectify should you wish to build in a location that is not permitted.
The Customer is to provide suitable access to the job. Items than can be removed are the responsibility of the customer (plant pots, fences, clothes line, swings, toys) . All items than cannot be removed, (i.e. bitumen, concrete, gravel, turf) Budget Rockscapes Qld will not be held liable for and is not responsible for damage.
Budget Rockscapes Qld is responsible for:
Completing the job quoted to the specifications and location provided by the Customer, in a safe manner that is able to be signed of by a structural engineer or local council if required, which is follows all legal rules and regulations, unless the customer chooses not to follow them.
Budget Rockscapes Qld is not responsible for:
Incorrect placements of retaining walls due to misinformation or failure to provide accurate plans to us.
Rebuilding of retaining walls which were known to be in an incorrect location due to easements and restrictions on the property.
Damage to all surfaces. The Customer is required to remove any items that need to be protected before work is to commence. Budget Rockscapes Qld will remove and is not responsible for any items that may damage our machines or vehicles or prevent a safe access to work area.
Damage to unlocated services. All services are to be clearly marked prior to commencement of works.
Important information:
Budget Rockscapes Qld is the sole property owner of all materials supplied until such time that all money owing is paid in full. Budget Rockscapes Qld reserves the right to enter private property and reclaim materials supplied, to cover any losses suffered if funds have not been received in a reasonable time, or if the client refuses to make payment. Budget Rockscapes Qld will not be held liable for any undesired impact this may have.
All extra works requested by the customer including Rework, Redesign, Extensions or Modifications, will be charged at an agreed rate or the rate decided by Budget Rockscapes Qld. These prices are at our discretion and may change at any time.
A quotation from Budget Rockscapes Qld is valid for one month from date. Items not included in quotes include the diversion of services, excavation in rock and/or concrete, supply of concrete, removal of excess fill, council approvals, compaction certification, or any works that have not been discussed or quoted on.
If a quotation has changed from the drawing, design or bill of quantities provided, Budget Rockscapes Qld will do a final measure of the wall/s once works are completed on site and any extra meterage will be charged at the agreed price. If a price has not been agreed to in writing prior to commencement, the meterage rate will be decided by Budget Rockscapes Qld.
Form 15 and 12 Engineers Certificates and Private Certification are from third parties and will not be handed over until payment is received in full. If the design changes once work commences, Changes in designs or amendments will incur extra fees, that are beyond the control of Budget Rockscapes Qld and will be passed on, in full to the Customer.
With the volatility of prices in the current market, Budget Rockscapes Qld can not guarantee that prices will increase between the quote and commencement of works. Prices are checked fortnightly and it is up to the customer to accept the price changes before works start.
Important Information on rock suitability:
Natural stone is a material that is naturally formed. All stone varies in colours/patterns and shape. Stone forms over millions of years and this is one of the reasons people choose to use it. Many rock formations around the world have been formed and shaped by wind and weather and it is these considerations that must be thought of before choosing the right rock for you project. Stone can vary in its physical properties and colours, even within the same quarry, and this means that the stone can vary on every delivery. Stone suitability can vary depending on the location of projects and it is the customers responsibility to decide on the most important attribute of the project; strength, longevity and visual appeal. Budget Rockscapes Qld will guarantee the workmanship, however will not give a guarantee on the life of the stone as some stone has a considerably shorter life than others.
Payment Terms:
A deposit will be asked for prior to commencement of work.
Progress payments throughout project as requested
Balance due strictly on completion of work.
Insurance & License Details:
Budget Rockscapes Qld is fully licensed and insured and will provide this information as requested. It will not be displayed on our website to prevent fraudulent activities
